The mysteries of blogging

How on earth have I ended up following myself!
Now - how to put a stop to this ...

Right, that's fixed, but now how do I end up with a time at something like 4 in the morning when I can quite clearly see the clock on the computer says 9.47pm as at this moment!

Aaaaarrrrggh!

There is so much to take in. And I'm not sure that I'm doing that - taking anything.
I don't know if I am game to put my tuppence-worth into a wiki. I find them interesting, but haven't come anything that I know is wrong, or needs correcting.

Lesson 4 rss feeds

What do you like about RSS and newsreaders? The information is there! All of a sudden - the latest info.
What sites did you select for your RSS reader? ABC news, 702 radio, Powerhouse, Librarybytes ...
How do you think you might be able to use this technology in your work? To keep up to date
How can libraries use RSS or take advantage of this new technology? Don't know which blogs/sites you would choose - can't have all of them! You have to be selective. I have personal interests, but I don't know how a library (or any other organisation for that matter) makes a choice! Maybe the statistics one would be good.
Did you find any good examples of other library blogs? Parramatta City Library - good reviews, up to date.
Remember to take a moment and share your thoughts and comments on someone else’s blog. I follow a couple of blogs and comment on one of them regularly - A Letter A Week. Does it have to be a library (web 2.0) one?

Adventure (OPTIONAL activity)
I have added the 702 radio news feed to my own blog.

Lesson 3

Note to self: try setting up a flickr account
